Terms of Service

Last updated: June 13, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms govern your use of Vlix Booking, including the website, app, booking pages, messaging tools, payment features, reminders, staff tools, and related services. By creating an account, booking an appointment, accepting an invite, or using Vlix, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Vlix for a business, shop, salon, team, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

Who uses Vlix

Vlix is used by barbers, stylists, shops, salons, staff members, and clients. Business users are responsible for their services, prices, schedules, cancellation policies, staff, client communications, and compliance with laws that apply to their business.

Business responsibility

Vlix is a software platform. Each business using Vlix is responsible for its own licenses, permits, taxes, insurance, staff classification, payroll, commission rules, booth rent arrangements, client disputes, professional services, hygiene and safety practices, consumer disclosures, marketing permissions, and legal compliance.

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and use Vlix only for lawful business or booking purposes. You are responsible for activity under your account and for staff or team members you invite.

Bookings and client services

Vlix provides software for booking and communication. Vlix does not perform barbering, styling, beauty, grooming, or salon services. The business or professional providing a service is responsible for the quality, safety, availability, timing, pricing, cancellation handling, refunds, disputes, and client experience for that service.

Payments, fees, and refunds

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Vlix may charge subscription fees, usage fees, messaging fees, number fees, payment-related fees, or other fees shown in the app. Refunds, no-show charges, deposits, and cancellations are controlled by the applicable business policy unless Vlix states otherwise in writing.

You authorize Vlix and its payment providers to charge payment methods on file for amounts you owe, including subscriptions, add-ons, messaging, phone numbers, payment processing, taxes, failed payments, chargebacks, reversals, and other amounts allowed under these Terms or shown in the app. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated in writing by Vlix.

Subscription cancellation

You may cancel a Vlix subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but it does not refund fees already paid. Unless your account is suspended or terminated for a violation of these Terms, paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period. Vlix does not provide prorated refunds or credits for partial billing periods unless required by law or expressly approved by Vlix in writing.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

Businesses are responsible for client payment disputes related to their services, prices, deposits, no-shows, cancellations, refunds, tips, taxes, and service quality. Vlix may deduct, withhold, reverse, or recover amounts related to chargebacks, disputes, processor fees, refunds, negative balances, fraud, or payment network rules.

Accounting, taxes, and reports

Vlix may provide dashboards, reports, payout views, staff payment tools, commission tracking, booth rent tracking, revenue estimates, and other business records. These tools are for convenience only and are not legal, tax, accounting, payroll, employment, or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying records, keeping your own books, paying taxes, issuing required forms, and consulting qualified professionals.

Leads and referrals

Vlix may offer discovery, booking requests, referral tools, promoted placement, lead routing, or similar features. Vlix does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, exclusivity, availability, intent, conversion, revenue, or legality of any lead, booking request, profile view, client message, or referral. Unless expressly stated in writing, lead, referral, advertising, and promoted placement fees are non-refundable.

Businesses may not resell, transfer, scrape, spam, or misuse leads or client information received through Vlix. Businesses must only contact leads and clients in a lawful way and must honor opt-outs, consent rules, carrier rules, privacy obligations, and consumer protection laws.

SMS program terms

Program name: Vlix Booking. Vlix and businesses using Vlix may send account verification codes, password reset messages, staff invitations, appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, schedule updates, payment reminders, client messages, and support messages. Message frequency varies based on account activity, appointments, reminders, and conversations. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services unless SMS is necessary to deliver the specific service you requested.

Messaging responsibility

Business users must only message people who have given proper consent or where the law otherwise permits the message. Business users may not upload, import, or text phone numbers they do not have permission to contact. Vlix may suspend messaging that causes complaints, carrier filtering, spam reports, policy violations, or legal risk.

Prohibited use

You may not use Vlix for spam, deceptive messages, harassment, illegal services, impersonation, fraud, abusive content, unauthorized scraping, security attacks, attempts to bypass carrier rules, payment abuse, or any use that harms Vlix, users, clients, carriers, payment processors, or third-party providers.

You also may not use Vlix to send prohibited SMS content, sell or broker personal information without permission, evade opt-outs, misrepresent your business, inflate reviews or metrics, create fake bookings, abuse referral or lead systems, interfere with payouts, or use the platform for any unlawful, high-risk, or regulated activity without our written approval.

Content and profiles

You are responsible for photos, bios, service descriptions, prices, business names, reviews, messages, and other content you add to Vlix. You give Vlix permission to host, display, transmit, and process that content as needed to provide and improve the service.

Third-party services

Vlix may integrate with third-party services such as SMS providers, email providers, maps, payment processors, calendar tools, analytics, and hosting platforms. Vlix is not responsible for third-party outages, policies, fees, account decisions, or service failures outside our control.

Beta and changing features

Some Vlix features may be experimental, in beta, incomplete, or changing. Beta and early-access features may be modified, paused, limited, or removed at any time and may contain errors. You should not rely on beta features as your only system of record for legal, tax, payroll, accounting, or payment obligations.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Vlix reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect delivery of messages, error-free scheduling, or that every integration will always be available. We may update, add, remove, limit, or change features as the product evolves.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts, booking pages, messaging, payments, numbers, or access to Vlix if we believe there is fraud, abuse, nonpayment, legal risk, carrier or payment network risk, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vlix, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, providers, and affiliates from claims, losses, damages, penalties, fees, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your business, services, clients, staff, content, payments, taxes, messages, leads, imported contacts, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.

Dispute resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact Vlix and try to resolve the dispute informally. To the fullest extent allowed by law, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration instead of in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. You and Vlix waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, representative action, or consolidated proceeding.

Disclaimers

Vlix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vlix disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vlix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, missed appointments, service disputes, payment disputes, failed message delivery, failed reminders, tax or accounting errors, chargebacks, lead quality, lost leads, lost clients, or third-party provider failures. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vlix's total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Vlix in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100.
